School History

      Janata Secondary School is located in 5 No. province ( previously known as Lumbini zone),the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha,forerunners of world peace,in the eastern part of Gulmi district, at the confluence of the holy river Kaligandaki and the Rudrawati river,to the north of Rudrabeni dham,in a flat and fertile land or Satyawati rural municipality ward no.1,Aslewachaur.  

        This school was born in the year 2019 B.S. in the name of Nepal Rastriya Primary School due to the initiation and activism of social workers and education loving personalities. It had been operating in different localities until 2024 B.S. Since then,it was conducted under the name of Janata Middle school. The year 2024 B.S. has been taken as a formal establishment of this school as per an available historical resources collected by the seniors,guardians and teachers.

       In the year 2026 B.S.,Janata Middle School received permanent aproval from zonal education officer's office,Butwal to conduct classes upto class 8. When the children had been deprived of access to secondary education for a long time so, in the year 2045 B.S.,under the leadership of local social activist,intelectuals and education loving personalities played a significant role to conduct secondary level education by taking/receiving temporary approval from the District Panchayat Secretariat, Gulmi. In the year 2048 B.S.,for the first time, students of this school participated in the S.L.C. examination. The school got the permanent approval of secondary level in 2052 B.S.,then the operation of the school became a bit easier. 

       Considering the wave of higher secondary education going on across the country and also the local need of the people, in the year 2062 B.S., Janata Secondary School conducted classes 11 and 12 with temporary affiliation of Higher Secondary Education Council. After conducting higher scondary level, hundreds of students have passed class 12 and have obtained higher education in various places abroad. Some of them have, reached the highest level of national service as well.
